I didn't make it, but it's a finish!!!

I just wanted to share this beautiful quilt that my daughter Allie just finished....I am so proud of her! She did a wonderful job and I think she has the "quilting bug" for good now. She's even been building a "stash"...lol

I don't have much to show lately...just plugging away on various projects. I should have a few finishes in the next few weeks...I am enjoying the warmer, more Springlike weather and on most days Jay and I can be seen touring around the yard to see the new life poking through the ground. I came home yesterday to this lovely bunch of daffodils. They smell so nice!

Thank you honey!
If the weekend is nice we'll have to do more than tour the yard...lol...it's time to get it cleaned up from the harsh Winter that we've had. FYI my daughter's gave me the set of tiny bowls for my birthday last year and I LOVE them :o)

Have a wonderful day! ranette

what a great looking quilt - congratulations on making it!

I need to cut some daffodils and bring them in also - but I think I will wait until afternoon so they can dry off from the rain that we got during the night.

I am so proud of Allie it is inspiring for me. I too love the little bowls. To bad we don't any pretty flowers in our yard (ever). I will just have to covet yours.

Next time I am there all of us can sew together. YEAH!!!!

Allie did a fantastic job on her quilt.

I just picked a huge bouquet of daffodils from my yard this morning. Daffodils are one of my favorite flowers, as I know warmer days are on the way!

Allie's quilt looks fantastic and I love the bunch of daffodils. It is Autumn here and I think I may have to go to the nursery and buy another bag of bulbs to plant in readiness for Spring.

It's so fun when our daughters catch THIS bug, isn't it?
I got flowers from Tim recently too. Aren't they sweet? (Husbands AND flowers!)

Allie's quilt is the bomb-diggety! get ready to hear, "are you gonna use this for anything? how 'bout this one? and this?"

we are two lucky women, Ranette - both of us have quilting daughters!

my daffodils just started poking up their leaves (before the 10 inches of snow day before yesterday) - it will be a while before your "favorite flower" is blooming here
