Here are the latest blocks done in the last few days.
I am itching to start a new project, but I'm not going to do it. I'm behind on several other projects as well and I will not stress about it. I did get the binding finished on the Prairie Paisley quilt that I showed a few posts back. Oh and I did get the Diawabo Houses quilt back from my quilter and I sewed the binding on it yesterday and I'll get it sewn down this week and then I'll post some pictures. The quilting is fabulous on the houses!
Other updates in my life....the knee is better and still healing. I'm still off of sugar and I've lost a little bit of weight, always a bonus! I'm tired of working all of the time, but after the coming weekend we will get a break...yeah! I did order and get some of the new French General fabric in the form of a jelly roll, layer cake and charm squares. I usually don't buy the precuts, but I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this fabric and will purchase yardage when it becomes available.
Okay time to get myself ready for Monday. I hope that it's a great day for you all!

nope, not tired of them in the least. They look fabulous! I think I would be shuddering to slice the pretty things in half but I know you wouldn't do it if you had any concerns. Can't wait to see the finished project.
Glad the knee is better!
I'm off to check out that fabric you say you have fallen for.
I love your Nearly Insane blocks - you are doing good it has been awhile since I have worked on my second Dear Jane - I will finish it sooner or later but I needed a break and I am working on two other projects in the meantime.

I, for one, do not get tired of seeing the blocks. This is a good one. Lots of stitching and matching.
Ranette, I never get tired of seeing your blocks. I do have to ask....does it hurt cutting into those beautiful blocks?
No I am not tired of them. I love the red and white fabrics and they way you make them in pieces.
Ranette Your blocks are looking wonderful. Have to confess to spending a little time on the Civil War Bride Quilt at the expense of my NI blocks or maybe last weeks block was too intricate and I just avoided it. Naughty me. Will do next weeks block and come back to the other when I am feeling stronger.
Keepp those blocks coming :-)
Cheers
Lynne
I was stroking a jelly roll of French General the other day but I resisted. I have a few projects to get through as well. Not sick of your NI. When I go to do mine, I'll come back and get some ideas if I get stuck choosing fabrics. Keep blogging about what you're doing, love to see it.
Oh, this is going to be a spectacular quilt! Nothing more appealing than a crisp, red & white quilt.
You know I will never tire of these blocks. If you feel the need to make extra just let me know. LOL! I am on the block of the week plan so I should be done with both of my Insane quilts by the end of next year.
These are beautiful blocks. I'm coming back after not reading for awhile so forgive two stupid questions:how big are they, and why do you cut them in half?
How could I get tired of your showing these beautiful blocks. I would rather see more of them.
How is your antique Quilt going?
Your block are beautiful !!
I guess you are having as much fun with yours that I had with mine :-)
Ranette, I enjoy seeing your NI blocks SO much! They're an inspiration to me! Are you paper-piecing them? I have plans of hand-piecing, but am not 100% sure yet! All the best! Mary Ann
