Well I'm back!!!

It's been a very busy couple of weeks around here...I think I need a vacation! :o)
I've been to Taos, NM, LaJunta, CO and I've been quilt shop hopping in Kansas. I came home sick from Colorado, but recovered in time to go to Kansas with my friends Sharon and Kathy where we met up with my daughter Emily and even went to a great shop in Lee's Summit, Missouri (11 shops in all). I think fun was had by all and I know that money was spent by all. The only downside to the trip was driving through pouring rain on our way up and then I fell and banged up my knee pretty bad coming out of the hotel on Tuesday morning, but I think I'm recovering. I'm not one to rush to the doctor as I really prefer playing one here in my house :o), but I think I'm doing okay. It slowed us down a bit, but it didn't stop the fun!

Last week I won a give away from Elaine and let me show you how generous she is.

Can you believe all of that?!?!?! Elaine took great care in preparing this package and I am truly thankful and blessed by her! Thank you so much Elaine.

Also thank you to all of you that sent birthday wishes my way. Oh and I came home to a clean house, courtesy of my daughter Allie and my other daughter Kara and her boyfriend Jacob built shelves in the game room closet for me...something I have wanted for years! My husband was super busy at work this week, but he financed my shop hop...wow I'm so spoiled!

Have a great day!

I hope your knee is recovering well.

What a treasure trove of goodies there! Elaine is certainly very generous.

I hope you get the time soon to do lots of sewing with everything you found on your shop hop.

Wow, I thought it was the loot from the shophopping! That's some package you won..
Glad that you made it back (almost) safe and sound and that you had fun. Best wishes on the knee (and DO go see a doctor if things don't improve within a week!)

Welcome home, Ranette!

What a generous giveaway to come home to. Take care of your knee and see to it if it doesn't improve in a timely fashion.

Thank you for your comment on my blog. I knew I had to write, but had been putting it off because I knew the tears would start again. I feel a bit better now.

Didn't know it was your birthday. Hope it was happy. Sounds like you had lots of fun on the shop hop.

I'm trying to get "back in the saddle" and am working on a machine appliqued double wedding ring (small). It's sort of a "faux" wedding ring.

Take care. I hope to meet you soon.
