I didn't put my paper scissors or crafting scissors in this picture...not enough room! I have given many pairs of scissors away as well to my girls and my sister, but I guard most of these and the girls know not to haul any away to their houses.
Dovos are my drug...oops I mean brand of choice. And these are my very favorites.
Here are my little scissoroos that Miriam sent me (thank you again) and my embroidery Dovos...both are also favorites.
This pair was given as a gift to me by my friend Sharon (no blog) just to cheer me up during a rough time and I love them
So now my secret is out....well not quite because I love ALL sewing notions really. My Dad, who was a woodworker, always taught me that you should have the best tools you can afford and I have followed his advice!
Other news is that I'm still off of sugar....can I get a great big HOORAY!! It is still very, very hard at times, but I think I'm starting to feel better and I've maybe lost an ounce...lol The knee is still stiff and hurts, but it's healing. I finished binding a quilt last night and I'll post a picture later. Oh and last but not least.....my baby girl turned Sweet Sixteen yesterday and the big party is tonight. Happy birthday Allie (one day late)...I LOVE you more than chocolate!
Enjoy the day!

Well, I guess I know what to get you for Christmas! (vbg)
After seeing your collection, Ranette, I know I omitted some from my 'coming out' post simply because we have many of the same ones. Yikes!
Do you know when the next SA (Scissors Anonymous' meeting is? (wink)
Wow! That's a lot of scissors. I've never even heard of Dovos. Am I missing something important? Tell me more. As for the sugar...Horray!!! for you. I wish I could do that. But I'm not sure I have enough "want to" yet. Happy Birthday Allie. Yes, she does have beautiful skin. And hair. And eyes.
Came over here from Kaaren's blog. I had to come and see your collection. I love it. This gives me an idea to do on my craft blog. I will my scissors post as a Three or More Tuesday post this coming Tuesday. Now I better get busy and take the pictures. LOL!
I want to thank you and Kaaren for making me feel "normal".... I thought I was the only one who had this "issue"

That is an impressive collection of scissors!!
Great collection. I don't have a lot of scissors but what I do have are my favorites.
Happy Birthday to lovely Allie.
I'm eyeing your collection...looks pretty fantastic! Glad you came out! Loved Kaaren's confession too!

Yep, I know Dovos! When I started appliqueing, I bought some--I think I might have three pairs of the small ones. My local quilt shop carries them, but I try not to look--LOL!
