Here's my Kansas Troubles Civil War block, which I had finished last weekend, but forgot to post.
I am really enjoying these blocks and the chance to dig around in my CW fabric stash.
I also finished my Midnight Stars Doll quilt. Now to quilt it which is always the hardest part for me. This was a fun little project that Lori put together and I can't wait to join in on her next quilt along. Thanks again Lori!
A new quilt has been started, but I'm not ready to show progress pictures, yet...I will try to put some up this weekend though.
Allie finished a big beautiful quilt...I am so proud of her and of all of my quilting girls!Oh I also finished the embroidery on the second Scandinavian Christmas block and started on the third. The applique is always fun and easy for me, but I struggle to make myself do the embroidery. And it appears that I have lost the fourth block...grrr....not sure where in the world it is, but hopefully I'll find it. Does anyone else lose things?
Well I'm off of the computer for now. I've been trying to stay off of it since I seem to get more done in my sewing room when I limit my online time to just mornings. Have a great Friday and stay warm or cool to my Aussie friends! ranette

I sure do feel for you all, i remember the ice storm we had 2 years ago, we was without power and water for 2 weeks, but we made it ok. Stay warm and happy sewing!
Your quiltalong setting fabric looks a bit like big snowflakes! I dont suppose you've been influenced by the weather huh? LOL Love your CW block.
Allie's quilt looks like a lot fun!! You are a good teacher!
I just love your quiltalong quilt. How fun!
How dare you tease me with the Scandinavian block and not show it! LOL!! You know how much I love it.
Allie's quilt is so beautiful! I love her fabrics and pattern. I can't even imagine the pride you must feel.
I am still resisting the CW Block a week. Maybe if I had a snow day I could start them but I don't think that is happening anytime soon. :(
I was going to leave a comment earlier this morning, but Larry was talking to me so I couldn't. lol..Love your blocks, so pretty.

I like your CWQ block a lot. I was just thinking last night that I'm going to need to use some lighter/brighter fabrics in upcoming blocks or it will start to look a little drab. Now I's sure . . .
Love Allie's quilt - what a cheery combination of fabrics. Very nice indeed.
Stay warm and enjoy your weekend. Regards, Sue
Everything is so beautiful! Allie did a great job. I can't wait to see all our doll quilts.
Everything is lovely Ranette.
Love your CW block...like Suedio, I think mine are a bit dull and boring...I think I'll make another couple brighter ones..
I haven't posted mine yet.
Julia ♥
You have been very busy! So has Allie! I love her quilt, it is so cheerful.
I love how you used 2 different fabrics set set your blocks for Midnight Stars.
I hope your weather warms up soon.
How big are those Civil War blocks finished? Looks like lots of little pieces. Tell Allie that her quilt looks "Happy" thats the best word I can think of to describe it, so bright and cheerful. She did an awesome job!
