Yummy!

I'm going to try to start making bread instead of buying it. Much healthier, plus it tastes better. This week I made white bread and it is delicious! Next week whole wheat. If anyone has any good recipes I would love to give them a try. Oh and I don't use a bread maker.

I don't use a bread maker, either. When people ask what kind of bread maker I have, I show my hands! : )

I have a yummy recipe, and I'll post it on my blog!

Homemade bread is the best :-)
You can put boiled potatoes in your bread too, if you have some left from dinner. Makes them very good.

They look delicious! I have made bread for almost two years myself and than I stopped. I forgot why, perhaps because I moved to a smaller town with a shop where the bread was very good. I moved again and now I have a reason to start baking again. I never made bread without a bread maker though. May I ask where you get your recipes?

The loaves look delicious. Once you know the basic ingredients and amounts you won't need a recipe. Potato bread is lovely and also you can use some leftover rice, it makes awesome toast. My favourite is honey and rye.

oh this is something I have wanted to try
can you tell me the recipe you used?
yes my goal this year is to use a lot more fresh ingredients/veggies and well my quilting goal is to have fun with what I am working on and use more of what I have already
Happy New Year.

I love homemade bread too. I can almost smell those loaves from here!
I use a breadmaker mostly, but I do think bread baked in the oven smells and tastes better!

I have been telling myself that I want to make more bread myself too. When I do I will let you know if I come across any good recipes.
