I miss quilting :o(

This has been such a busy time at work and in life that I haven't done any sewing lately...that makes me so sad! I worked over 12 hours yesterday and today will be another long day.
I thought I'd show a couple of pictures of quilts that I made several years ago for gifts. This one was made for my friend and boss, Mary in honor of her 60th birthday.

It's a Miss Rosie's pattern and I've made it a couple of times since. Very simple, but effective.

I made this quilt for my oldest daughter's 18th birthday. I don't remember the pattern name right now, but it is also an easy fun quilt and I really enjoyed making it for her.
Okay enough for right now, I've got to get to work....maybe this weekend I'll get a chance to turn on my machine.
Later!

Hope work slows down a tiny bit and that you get some good sewing time in this weekend! I've been frantically working on stuff as both nannies are on holiday next week so I'll have next to no time for anything. I'll have a manny (DH) but he's just not as good as the nannies LOL!

Gorgeous quilts, I can't wait to finish one. Just one would make me thrilled.

Ranette I really feel for you, it is so annoying when work gets in the way:-) I love the quilt you made for your friends 60th . You just can't go past those traditional patterns in any colour way
Don't work too hard save some energy for stitching

I like the looks of those quilts - I think it is the whites and the light colors - gives it on old fashioned feeling about it (which I always love) hope you can get back to quilting soon

Oh nuts! It's terrible when work gets in the way of play -- now that's just wrong! *lol*
Your quilts are lovely. . . & you made the first one for a friend -- that's nice! -- now how do we all get on your *friend's* list? hehehe
Have a great stitchin' weekend.
Hugs,
