The flower basket quilt is done!!!

Yipee! I was really ready to be finished with this quilt. I did enjoy making it, but it is all hand done in the buttonhole stitch and I was starting to get a little tired of it. I think the sides are wavy because of the way my daughters are holding it...at least I hope that's why. If not, my quilter can quilt it out....lol

Yesterday was a wonderful day spent playing with fabric, sewing a little, cleaning up the sewing room and eating wonderful Mexican food prepared by my hubby and my girls. The only way that it could have been better is if Emily had been here as well, but she has finals this week (darn KU)and needed to be home to study. I'll see Em in a couple of weeks and it will be a fun weekend.

It looks like another rainy day today....I'm going to quit talking about the weather because I'm sounding like a broken record. I know that I'll be praying for this rain come July, so I'm just trying to keep on going.

Have a terrific day!

That quilt is a masterpiece! You must display it in your home for all to see.

Your basket quilt top is just wonderful! So many different styles of baskets. Colors are good. You can send the quilt for a visit to my house any time you care to! LOL!
