This is my parents on their wedding day. They were young, very young. He was a month from turning 18 and she was just 16 years old. They didn't "have" to get married. My Mom says they just wanted to be together all of the time. They almost made it to 50 years...but not quite.
Today we are having a "sew" day at my house. Kathy, Sharon, Paulette, me and my Mom (who doesn't sew AT ALL) are going to quilt all day. Yeah! We don't get to do this very often so I'm really excited. We decided not to worry about food, so we'll just order out, well I might make some beer bread for Sharon...lol...
